Embracing 2026 with Hope & Realism
By Joe And Doug Williams
2026 will no doubt present challenges & opportunities for both buyers & sellers alike. As we head into the new year, we wanted to share some thoughts on what we are seeing in the market and how we are approaching the year ahead.
We remain hopeful that the market will continue to show signs of improvement, but we are also realistic about the challenges that remain. Interest rates, while improved from their peaks, are still a factor for many buyers. Inventory levels have been higher than usual in many segments, which gives buyers more choice but also means sellers need to be strategic about pricing and presentation.
Our advice heading into 2026 is the same advice we always give: focus on what you can control. If you are selling, make sure your home is presented at its absolute best and priced realistically for the current market. If you are buying, take advantage of the increased inventory and reduced competition to find the right home for your needs.
We are grateful for every client we have had the opportunity to work with this year, and we look forward to helping more families achieve their real estate goals in 2026. As always, we appreciate your referrals to friends & family. Happy New Year! Joe, Doug & Randal Real Estate Team
